45l Pack

Here is an online pack builder form, I can talk you through the options on the phone if required. This is how we specify your pack build. Only large zip up hip belt pockets change the price, within reason.

A sturdy 45l Pack weighs 600 to 750 grams and can carry quite a considerable weight. I have used mine for a long 9 day mission as well as a 6 day packrafting adventure and other shorter trips.

The 45l Pack can be made to suit a tramper, climber, packrafter or almost any use imaginable, though simple is always lighter.

Made in Te Anau with laminates from Dimension Polyant and Challenge Outdoors. As far as possible components are sourced in New Zealand. Knowing local conditions, we add good kiwi durability wherever possible.

Dimensions are: 29cm x 20cm x 80cm = 46l to the top of an open bag, excluding pockets and any extra rolltop.

Zip up waist belt pockets cost $70 extra, they are fully integrated into the hip belt, large and useful but take a lot of extra time to make. If you do a lot of bush bashing be aware they will be the widest part of you, great for on track tramping. I frequently put a flat lycra pocket on my hip belts for no extra charge. There is an option at the top of the page to select the hip belt pockets you want.

All other standard options are included in the price.

How to measure your torso length.

If you prefer to transact directly you can submit the online pack builder form. Then I will send an MYOB invoice, with payment by direct deposit. A very large proportion of my order flow is offline.
